This murphy bed mechanism will provide decades of operation. Constructed of high quality steel with a powdercoated finish. The door bed is counter balanced with extension springs of high tensile strength wire. The assembly for this bed is attached to the floor with a minimum of six expansion bolts for cement or for wood floors eight lag screws are needed 5/16" x 1 1/2" (not provided).  The bed frame is attached to a pivot point to facilitate easy raising and lowering of the wall bed mechanism.

 Before adding your mattress to our Murphy Bed frame you need one of our made to order Mattress Supports or save and use plywood to make your own. For making your own cut the plywood to 1/2" smaller than your mattress dimensions. For a Queen Frame we recommend using 5/8" thick plywood, for Full and Twin Murphy Bed Frames 1/2" thick plywood will be sufficient.
