Great product but a lot of work!!!

Overall the product is great. The directions are mostly well-organized and well-thought out. However, this is not a simple project and will take a fair amount of skill and craftsmanship to do correctly and with precision. I am a rather experienced DIYer, but is still took about 5 weekends of work to get it all cut, painted and installed. It also took a significant amount of intuition. Just be prepared. But if you want a quality murphy bed at a great price, you can't beat it!

Vertical King

My Overall experience is fine., I am a professional woodworker. I noticed that the king bed cut sheets varied in proportion to the other bed sizes /stated mattress sizes. I adjusted my cut sheets to accommodate the variation. It worked out great. I had to also create a different scenario for the rod that connects the feet.(due to the expansion) My clients had purchased an 11” mattress and I also overlaid the door with a chevron wood pattern which effected the toe height and its distance from front . I also had to expand the box frame slightly. So, while I altered the design for the project requirements and a proper king mattress, the hardware worked great. Thanks Murphy Bed Depot.
