Mattress Information

The exact thickness, style, and weight of your mattress for use with our Murphy Beds is VERY IMPORTANT.

Other than our "Standard" cabinet depth Majestic Library Beds (make a new webpage for Boaz bed search results and drop-down submenu and remove them from Majestic Library Beds search results and drop-down submenu, then put link of search results for JUST Majestic Library Beds here), the maximum mattress thickness that any of our Murphy Beds allow is 11 inches, when measured at the thickest point, and it must be less than 80 lbs.

The maximum mattress thickness that all of our Majestic Library Beds (make a new webpage for Boaz bed search results and drop-down submenu and remove them from Majestic Library Beds search results and drop-down submenu, then put link of search results for JUST Majestic Library Beds here) with "Standard" cabinet depth allow is 9 inches (select "Deep" cabinet depth on all of our Majestic Library Beds to allow an 11 inch thick mattress), when measured at the thickest point, and it must be less than 80 lbs.

Our Murphy Panel Beds (Murphy Bed Cabinet Systems: Murphy Bed Depot | Murphy Bed Furniture – tagged "panel" – MurphyBedDepot) not only limit the thickness of your mattress to 11 inches, but also require that your single/twin mattress be no more than 39" wide x 74.5" long; that your double/full mattress be no more than 54" wide x 74.5" long; that your queen mattress be no more than 60" wide x 79.5" long; that your king mattress be no more than 76" wide x 79.5" long, or that your twin XL mattress be no more than 39" wide x 79.5" long to fit inside the panel bed frames.

Latex and hybrid mattresses will not work with any of our Murphy Beds.

Additionally, the mattress you use must stand up on its end without sagging or doubling over to not damage our Murphy Beds.
