Even Better in person than I Imagined!
Overall this has been a great experience. Updates were sent in a timely fashion, the information to coordinate having a third party for assemble was super helpful. Their team picked it up, provided updates on when they would arrive and got right to work. They took care to ensure there was no damaged to the walls or floor while they worked and the bed was assembled to perfection! AND LOOKS AMAZING! The doors to open out to a bed are easy to open and it feels super sturdy. 10/10 would recommend this to anyone who was looking for a beautiful piece of dual use furniture.

It’s a very nice and substantial bed and is very attractive. Really like the quality and stability of the bed. Thoughtful elements like the baseboard cut out are a nice touch. We were missing magnets for the door though so we will have to go pick some up but aside from that it is quite nice. It’s definitely not simple to put together but the online videos are helpful. Overall great Murphy bed!

The Boaz Library bed fits into our flex room perfectly. The queen mattress is very comfortable and the items on the shelves do not have to be removed in order for the bed to be used. Delivery and installation was flawless. I highly recommend Murphy Bed Depot.

Murphy Bed Depot was so great to work with! Every time I had a question and reached out to their customer service (online chat and phone), they were so helpful and thorough. We built the bed ourselves and they provided written instructions, and a video for half of the building to follow. Both were really helpful! However, it took some educated guesses at some points because there were gaps in the video (video based on older model), and gaps in the instructions (very rarely). It’s important to know they pre-drill most of the holes in the boards but not all, so be prepared to measure a bit and have knowledge to use a drill, among other tools. We also had to remove the quarter inch round molding in the room, since the bed frame has to be flush against the ground and wall. We didn’t expect that initially. Overall, we aren’t builders so it took us a few days to put together, but we did it! We do really love the product and it’s such high quality. We would highly recommend this company and their products!

Are your complete Murphy Library Bed systems available in king size?
Our complete Murphy Library Bed systems are NOT available in king size.
What is the weight rating for the shelves in your complete Murphy Library Bed systems?
Our complete Murphy Library Bed systems have different shelf weight ratings. All of the shelves on our
complete Boaz BiFold Bookcase Murphy Bed systems and the shallower shelves on the sliding bookcases of
our complete Majestic Library Bed systems can hold up to about 10 pounds per shelf. The deeper shelves
on the fixed side cabinets of our complete Majestic Library Bed systems can hold up to about 40 pounds
per shelf.
Can your complete Murphy Library Bed systems be modified to be shorter or narrower and not need the
wall space dimensions shown in the “Size Guide?”
Our complete Murphy Library Bed systems are NOT able to be modified to be shorter or narrower than the
“Size Guide,” and the height listed in the “Size Guide” includes the extra height needed above the
cabinet(s) to install properly.
Is there something similar to your complete Majestic Library Bed systems which we can order that needs
less wall width?
Yes, you can order our complete Boaz BiFold Bookcase Murphy Bed system, which needs much less wall
width. For a modification fee, starting at about $500, you can also modify your order to have 15” deep
side cabinets that are no wider than when our complete Boaz BiFold Bookcase Murphy Bed system is
completely open (twin/single: 70” wide; double/full: 92” w: queen: 101” w) for even more shelves/space.
You can even have doors on the lower parts of the cabinets, similar to our complete Majestic Library
Bed: Supreme & Deluxe systems.
How many adjustable shelves do your complete Murphy Library Bed systems have (is there an adjustable
shelf behind the doors in your complete Majestic Library Bed: Supreme & Deluxe systems)?
The upper two shelves and the shelf above the bottom of the shelved cabinets (behind the doors of our
complete Majestic Library Bed: Supreme & Deluxe systems) in our complete Murphy Library Bed systems are
adjustable. The bottom and second “shelf” (horizontal partition) above the bottom of the shelved
cabinets in our complete Murphy Library Bed systems are NOT adjustable. Our complete Murphy Library Bed
systems have 16 adjustable shelves with eight (8) non-adjustable “shelves” (four (4) horizontal
partitions and four (4) bottoms).
What mattress would you recommend for your complete Murphy Library Bed systems?
The 10” Medium Memory Foam Mattress that you can order from us works well in all of our complete Murphy
Library Bed systems.
Will my mattress work with your complete Murphy Library Bed systems?
Yes, your mattress can work with our complete Murphy Library Bed systems if it passes the following
tests. First, if you can physically measure your mattress thickness (at its thickest point), both when
it is lying down or standing on end, and that thickest measurement is 11” or less. Second, if when you
stand your mattress on end, it stands up rigid without sagging or doubling over. We do NOT recommend
latex and hybrid mattresses. Our 10” Medium Memory Foam Mattress has been put to these tests and passed
both of these tests, working very well with our complete Murphy Library Bed systems.
Is your complete Boaz BiFold Bookcase Murphy Bed system designed to be installed over our existing
baseboard/floor molding?
If your baseboard and/or floor molding is 3/4” deep or less and 9” tall or less, then, Yes, our complete
Boaz BiFold Bookcase Murphy Bed system is designed to lean back against your existing baseboard and/or
floor molding and installed to the wall through the baseboard and above the cabinet to the wall, without
any modifications.
Can we order hardware and one of your Murphy Bed Frames so that we can DIY cut, build, and install our
own wood cabinetry to DIY make something similar to your complete Boaz BiFold Bookcase Murphy Bed
system?
Yes, you can order our Murphy Bed Frame or “The Next Bed” Wall-Mounted Murphy Bed Frame and then order
our Pivoting Bookcase Hardware Kit BC-1 to complete your own pivoting bookcase system, similar to our
complete Boaz BiFold Bookcase Murphy Bed system (without the bifolding). The complete cut list for the
