The installation was easy. It is heavy to pick up the large bed panel and place on the hinges, so we had to ask the help of a neighbor. Take your time and you will be happy with the finished product. Between the instructions and the video, everything was pretty clear. The white panels are melamine covered particle board. All the fasteners worked as expected. All the predrilled holes were in the correct place. Good solid piece of furniture when you are done. Really happy to have our 3rd bedroom turned into a music room 98% of the time!
